The dynamic menu builds the structure for the navigation on the site. Through third party components or custom development, the navigation is rendered on the website. Examples of third party components are:

• skmMenu is a free .NET menu control. More information can be found at http://www.skmmenu.com/.
• ComponentArt is another manufacturer of a menu control. More information can be found at http://www.componentart.com/.

Both controls have been used in the demo site that comes with the download of emagiC CMS.Net. Of course, there are other menu controls on the market that can be used just as easy.

The elements in the navigation are derived from the structure in the sitemap. For each page you can select if it should be included or not. The administration of the module lets you choose:

• From which page to start the navigation
• The number of level visible
• Whether extranet pages should be included or not

The side menu is an alternative dynamic menu module that does not require any third party menu control.
