Scalable architecture
The emagiC CMS.Net framework is the heart of the content management system. It contains the fully-documented API and is written for 100% in .NET code, turning it into a scalable solution for both small and larger projects.

Web based administration
All administration can be done through a browser and does not require any technical knowledge. Most end-users of emagiC CMS.Net can be found in the marketing and communication departments of our customers. The web based administration puts content editors back into control.

Everything is content based on modules
In emagiC CMS.Net, the content that is managed is not limited to just text with pictures.  Everything is content!  Even the navigation of the site or an extranet login form is content. For each type of content, there is a module to manage it.  The emagiC CMS.Net framework ships a large number of free standard modules to manage a wide variety of content types, and more advanced optional modules can be added.  The framework can also be extended with your own custom modules.

A single piece of content is called a datapart.  Each page on the website is a collection of dataparts displayed within a template.  The dataparts are added dynamically to the page and can be re-used on different pages.

emagiC CMS.Net is not just for public websites.  With the extranet functionality, optionally linked with Active Directory, the content management system is the engine behind many intranet and extranet sites.  Even complex portal sites are no problem with the datapart architecture.
